Biography
James Richard Mr III Russell is a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Arkansas in the 2026 midterm elections. Known as “Rus,” he was born in Bossier City, LA, and raised between Louisiana and rural Arkansas, where his family has roots since the 1800s. A UCA graduate, he owns an outpatient mental health business in Little Rock and previously ran for Arkansas Governor in the 2022 Democratic primary.
