Biography
JAMES CARLIN is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Iowa in the 2026 election. An attorney and U.S. Army veteran, Carlin previously served as an Iowa House Representative from 2017 and as a State Senator from 2017 to 2023. He announced his current Senate bid in April 2025, seeking to replace Sen. Joni Ernst.
