James Bialota is a 48-year-old business owner from Piedmont, South Dakota, who owns Dead On Surplus, a store selling military surplus, sporting goods, and precious metals. He is a disabled combat veteran who served in the Air Force and previously directed the West Dakota Water Development District. Bialota is running as a Republican for the U.S. House.
