Biography
Jacob VandenPlas, born in 1984, is a combat veteran who served 13 years in the Army with two tours in Iraq. He is also a farmer, co-owning Door County Farm LLC, and founded Door County (DC) Farm for Vets to help veterans learn farming. He announced his candidacy for Wisconsin State Senate District 1 as a Republican, focusing on real-world leadership and accountability.
