Biography
Iziah Thompson, a 32-year-old policy researcher and housing organizer, initially announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District as a Democratic Socialist. Thompson, a Plainfield native, previously lobbied on behalf of tenants in various government settings. He later withdrew from the race.
