Biography
Rick Herring has spent over thirty years as a neighborhood volunteer, leader, and activist in Fort Worth, where he is a lifelong resident raised in the Riverside community. He is an ERISA Consultant in the 401(k) Plan Industry and a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University.
Top Priorities
- Protecting, preserving, and improving the neighborhoods of District 11 by strengthening neighborhood associations, reviving dormant ones, and creating new ones.
- Managing Fort Worth’s explosive growth in outlying areas by planning ahead, setting appropriate expectations for budget and CIP planning, and prioritizing attracting new businesses over endless subdivisions.
