Biography
Harold Dutton Jr. is a long-serving member of the Texas House of Representatives, first elected in 1984, and is currently serving his seventeenth term. A native of Fifth Ward, Texas, he earned a BBA in Accounting from Texas Southern University and later became an attorney. He has chaired the Committee on Juvenile Justice and Family Issues and previously chaired the House Public Education Committee.
