Graciela Guzman

Graciela Guzmán is an American politician and Democratic member of the Illinois Senate from the 20th district since 2024. As the daughter of Salvadoran refugees, her personal experiences, including the loss of her undocumented grandfather due to lack of healthcare, motivated her career as a legislative organizer and policy advocate, leading to successful campaigns for healthcare expansion, immigrant justice, and workers' rights.
