George J. Silver

George J. Silver served as a New York Supreme Court Justice for New York County and Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for New York City Courts until his retirement in 2021. A Bronx native, he earned degrees from NYU Stern and Hofstra Law, and was elected to the Civil Court of NYC in 2004 before being elected to the Supreme Court in 2012. In his judicial career, he oversaw various parts, served as an interim Administrative Judge, and managed trial court operations, backlog reduction, and ADR implementation across the five boroughs.
