Biography
Garland Pierce (Democratic Party) is a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 48, an office he assumed in 2005. He is a Baptist minister who earned a B.S. from Fayetteville State University and a M.Div. from Shaw Divinity School, and served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1974.
