Biography
Emilia Sykes was born in Akron, Ohio, and currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 13th Congressional District, a position she assumed on January 3, 2023. Prior to her time in Congress, she represented the 34th district in the Ohio House of Representatives. In Congress, Sykes has focused on bringing federal resources and support to her district and working across the aisle to deliver results for Ohio families.
