Biography
Elba Garcia is a Dallas County Commissioner for District 4 in Texas, first elected in 2010 and assuming office in 2011. A dentist and small business owner, she immigrated from Mexico City and previously served on the Dallas City Council. She is noted as the first Latino/a to serve on the Dallas County Commissioner's Court.
