Biography
Representative Donna Howard has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2006, representing District 48. A native of Austin, she earned degrees in nursing and health education from the University of Texas and worked as a critical care nurse. She is a leader on women's health policy and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and the Higher Education Committee.
