Biography
Donald K. Primus, a 65-year-old Steamboat Rock resident and Democrat, is seeking the Iowa House District 2 seat. A former Manager of Pine Lake State Park for 32 years, Primus will be on the Democratic primary ballot in June 2026. He studied Conservation Technology and Forestry/Fire Management, and grew up on a farm where he raised cattle and corn.
