Biography
Diego Bernal was born in South Texas and raised in San Antonio, earning multiple degrees from the University of Michigan, including a law degree. He worked as a social worker and later as a civil rights attorney, advocating for working people, children, and immigrant communities, and focusing on equitable public school funding and electoral system integrity. Bernal currently serves as a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 123, a position he has held since 2015.
