Biography
DeAndrea Salvador, a Democrat, represents District 39 in the North Carolina State Senate, assuming office on January 1, 2021. She made history in 2020 as the youngest woman elected to the NC State Senate at age 30. Salvador holds a degree in economics from UNC Charlotte and founded the Renewable Energy Transition Initiative (RETI).
