Biography
David Sheridan Schweikert is an American Republican politician and businessman. He has served as the U.S. representative from Arizona's 1st congressional district since 2023, previously representing the 6th (2013-2023) and 5th (2011-2013) districts. In September 2025, Schweikert announced he would seek the Republican nomination in the 2026 Arizona gubernatorial election instead of running for re-election to the U.S. House.
