Dave Syverson (born June 29, 1957) is a Republican member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 35th district since 2013 and previously the 34th district from 1993 to 2013. An insurance agency owner, he was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Guilford High School and Rock Valley College.
