Biography
Darrell Apffel was born and raised in Galveston, Texas, and has dedicated over three decades to the legal profession. He has served as Galveston County Commissioner for Precinct 1 since 2017, following a decade as Justice of Peace in Galveston County. Apffel is also the managing partner of Apffel Legal.
Top Priorities
- Cleaning up the precinct by mowing ditches and right-of-ways, better maintaining roads, and continuing the county’s blight removal program.
- Protecting business owners and supporting development as the state moves forward with expansion of State Highway 146.
