Danny Davis (born September 6, 1941) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 7th congressional district since 1997. A Democrat, he previously served on the Chicago City Council and the Cook County Board of Commissioners. He announced he will not seek reelection to Congress in 2026.
