Biography
Daniel Biss is a mathematician, community leader, and the Democratic nominee for Congress. He has served as mayor of Evanston since May 2021, and previously as an Illinois state senator from 2013 to 2019 and a state representative from 2011 to 2013. Before entering politics, Daniel Biss worked as an assistant professor of mathematics at the University of Chicago.
