DANIEL ANTHONY MR. JR. BYRON

Daniel Anthony Mr. Jr. Byron immigrated to the United States from Quito, Ecuador at age 17, speaking no English. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Business Administration from Cumberland University on a soccer scholarship. Byron later became an adult education teacher at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he founded the UIC Center for Literacy’s Spanish literacy program.
