Biography
D. Adam Smith was adopted and raised in SeaTac, Washington. He earned a degree in Political Science from Fordham University and a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, subsequently working as a prosecutor, lawyer, and judge pro tempore. Smith began his political career as a state senator at age 25 and currently serves as a U.S. Representative for Washington's 9th Congressional District.
