Biography
Constance "Connie" Johnson is a Democratic politician from Oklahoma with a long history of progressive activism. She served in the Oklahoma Senate for District 48 from 2005 to 2014 and was the first African American woman nominated for major statewide office in Oklahoma in 2014. Johnson, who holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Langston University, is currently campaigning for the 2026 Oklahoma gubernatorial election.
