Biography
Claudia Jimenez was elected to the Richmond City Council in 2020, representing District 6. An immigrant from Colombia, she previously worked as an architect designing affordable housing and holds a Master's degree in Environmental Planning from UC Berkeley. On the council, Jimenez has focused on improving city services, public spaces, and financial stability for the community, advocating for social equity and environmental justice.
