Biography
Cindy Byrd is the Republican nominee for Oklahoma state treasurer, winning the June 16 primary over the incumbent with more than 60% of the vote. A CPA and Oklahoma's term-limited state auditor, she was the first woman elected to that office, and her audits have led to the removal of more than 30 public officials.
