Biography
Chris Bell is a lifelong Democrat, attorney, and former journalist who has served on the Houston City Council and as a U.S. Congressional Representative for Texas's 25th district. He was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Texas in 2006 and is again seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor in the 2026 election.
