Cheryl Kortemeier

Cheryl Kortemeier is a Nonpartisan candidate who ran for election to the Decatur City Commission District 2 Post A in Georgia in November 2025. Having lived in Decatur for nearly 30 years, she is also the executive director of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta. Kortemeier has been actively involved in local civic and community efforts, including supporting Safe Routes to School initiatives and contributing to the City of Decatur’s 2020 Strategic Plan.
