Biography
John Cherry is a member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 27, a position he assumed on January 1, 2023. A resident of Flint, Michigan, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives. Cherry earned both a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Michigan and has experience as a small business owner and in public service.
