Biography
Charniele Herring is an attorney and the first Black woman Majority Leader of the Virginia House of Delegates, serving since 2009. Overcoming homelessness as a teenager, she earned degrees from George Mason University and Catholic University's Columbus School of Law before establishing her own mediation practice.
