Charles Margrave Taylor, CC, GOQ, is an internationally celebrated Canadian philosopher, political theorist, and public intellectual. He served as vice-president of both the federal and Quebec New Democratic Party and ran in four federal elections, notably against Pierre Trudeau in 1965.
