Biography
Charles D. Fall is a Democratic New York State Assemblymember representing District 61 since 2019, currently serving as Deputy Majority Leader. Born in Manhattan and raised in Staten Island, he is the first Muslim and African American Assemblymember from Staten Island. Fall holds a BA from Southwestern College and a Master of Public Administration from Pace University, having previously served as Staten Island Borough Director for NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chief of Staff to the Staten Island Parks Commissioner.
