Biography
Chad Hawkins is the current Gaston County Sheriff in North Carolina, running for re-election as a Republican. He has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, including previous roles as chief of police in Cherryville and leading the Belmont Police Department. Hawkins became Gaston County's first Republican sheriff in over 40 years when he won in 2022.
