Biography
Cara Mendelsohn is a member of the Dallas City Council, representing District 12 in Far North Dallas since June 2019. An accomplished nonprofit executive and volunteer leader, she previously served as Executive Director of Rebuilding Together North Texas and held director roles at other community organizations. On the City Council, Mendelsohn chairs the Public Safety, Legislative Affairs, and Ad Hoc General Investigating and Ethics committees.
