Biography
Charles "CJ" Domingo is an Asheville native who graduated from UNCA with a degree in Microbiology. He has a diverse professional background, including roles in the food industry (waiter, barista, grocery store manager) and government (Operations Supervisor in Parking Services). His parents, an immigrant father and a local mountain girl, instilled in him an appreciation for charity and community building. This is his first run for public office, seeking a seat on the Asheville City Council.
Top Priorities
- Repairing, maintaining, and investing in more of the infrastructure which we all rely upon.
- Restoring public trust in government by implementing standards for better accountability.
- Responsibly funding and safeguarding core city services to ensure that folks don’t have to wonder if help will be available when they need it.
