Burt Gerl

Burt Gerl served on the Winnebago County Board from 2012 and chaired its Public Safety and Judiciary Committee from 2020 to 2022, per the Register Star's 2022 candidate guide. He worked for the City of Rockford public works department from 2007 to 2017 and has run a home remodeling business since 2018, per the same guide; as board chair of the Public Safety Committee he backed the county's Ring video doorbell safety initiative, per Winnebago County. No campaign website was found as of September 29, 2026.
