Biography
Brian Patrick Kavanagh is a Democrat representing New York's 27th State Senate District, which covers lower Manhattan and surrounding neighborhoods. He has served in this position since December 2017, following a special election victory, and was previously elected to the New York State Assembly in November 2006.
