Biography
Brenda M. Freedman is a judge on the Erie County Family Court in New York's 8th Judicial District, first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2025. She presides over juvenile delinquency and Persons in Need of Supervision matters, and was appointed lead judge for implementing Raise the Age legislation. Prior to her judicial career, Freedman served as a court attorney referee and practiced law.
