Biography
Brad Beekman is a retired Master Sergeant with the Illinois State Police and a current member of the Bushnell Prairie City Community Unit School District 170 school board. A Republican candidate for Illinois State Senate District 36, he holds a bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement Administration and also works part-time at a local bank and farms.
Top Priorities
- A Voice for Law Enforcement - opposed to the SAFE-T Act and will support to have it repealed or amended.
- Advocate for Quality Education - support school choice and stable state funding for schools.
- Support Agriculture and Small Businesses - lift regulations for farmers and provide support for small businesses.
