A property and casualty insurance broker with two decades in the industry, he holds the CIC, CRM and CPCU designations and is a fourth-generation Oklahoman living in Inola. He won the August 25 Republican runoff with 194,922 votes to Marty L. Quinn's 158,627, taking 55.13 percent; results are unofficial until the state certifies September 1.
