Biography
Carl "Bill" Roop is a Republican politician representing District 44 in the West Virginia House of Delegates, having assumed office in August 2024 after being appointed by Governor Jim Justice. An attorney by profession, Roop has served as the long-time attorney for the Raleigh County Commission, bringing experience in regulatory issues. He grew up watching his father serve in the House of Delegates.
