Biography
Betty Capote-Erben is a judge of the Miami-Dade County Court in Florida, appointed by Governor Rick Scott in 2012. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her J.D. from the University of Miami. Prior to her judicial appointment, Capote-Erben served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit, and currently presides over criminal division cases and the Driver's License Assistance Court.
