Biography
Beth Smith is the current Trustee for District D on the Washoe County School Board, first appointed in 2021 and winning a special election in 2022. She has been elected president of the board by her colleagues and recognized as New School Board Member of the Year by the Nevada Association of School Boards. Smith is committed to accessible representation, advocating for students, parents, and teachers, and has a background as a Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager.
