Biography
Amy Cressy is a South Bend native and a Democratic candidate for St. Joseph County Prosecuting Attorney in Indiana, running in the 2026 primary. She began her career as an intern in the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office in 2003, rising to Chief Deputy Prosecutor and Chief of Staff in 2022, specializing in prosecuting illegal drugs, guns, and gang cases. If elected, Amy Cressy would be the first female prosecutor in the county's history.
