Biography
Amy Briel is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 76 since January 2025. Born and raised in La Salle County, she previously served as Chief of Staff for former state representative Lance Yednock and as a caseworker for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. Briel attended Illinois State University and lives in Ottawa with her family.
