Amanda Calvert is the Hays County District Clerk in Texas, having been sworn into office on November 14, 2024, after running in a special general election. A Democrat, Calvert has lived in Hays County for approximately 12 years and previously served 11 years in the Hays County District Attorney’s office as the Administrative Felony Lead Supervisor. She holds a Political Science degree from Texas State University and has graduate certificates in paralegal and mediation studies.
