Biography
Alejandra “Ale” Chávez is an El Paso native and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, who also earned a master’s degree in culinary arts. She owned and operated a successful restaurant in El Paso for two decades, receiving the SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year award in 2022. Chávez was elected as the City Representative for El Paso's District 1, assuming office in January 2025.
