Ajay Gupta is the Republican candidate for Illinois House District 41 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the State Board of Elections' certified candidate list. Gupta is a tax attorney and financial economist who has practiced law for more than two decades, including a stint as a federal prosecutor, per his campaign site. He holds a law degree from Harvard with a tax specialization from NYU, plus graduate degrees in finance from Yale and economics from Stanford, and has taught at Chicago-area law schools for a decade. He is a Naperville resident challenging incumbent Rep. Janet Yang Rohr.
