Biography
Aishwarya "Sparky" Mitra is a Bengali-American bioengineer and community organizer running for California’s 50th Congressional District. A Bioengineering student at UCSD, she has served as President of the UCSD College Democrats and Vice President of the California College Democrats. Mitra is running to address the affordability and housing crisis, challenge medical costs, and fight climate change.
