Biography
Aicha Davis was elected to the Texas House of Representatives for District 109 in 2024. She began her career as a public school teacher for a decade before serving on the State Board of Education from 2018 to 2024. Davis is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of North Texas.
Top Priorities
- Fully fund public schools and repeal Texas’ voucher scheme
- Increase salaries for teachers, counselors, bus drivers, school nurses, and support staff
